So, with our new emphasis on less demanding trips, does that mean there will now be “Mints on the Pillow” ?  Not a chance !  Participants will still be expected to be self reliant, physically fit, experienced at hiking or cycling, able to withstand the rigours of weather, terrain, and physical hardship, but all geared to a less demanding standard than in past years.    And lastly, anyone travelling with us, must be of an amiable and uncomplaining nature, willing to accept the variable adversities that travel and physical activity tend to attract.

With that said, take a look at our List of Trips and see if anything appeals to you, and then join us in a riding or hiking trip.   If you have any questions or comments, feel free to write or call.

Hi all ......  This is Wayne and Margy in Bishop, CA located in the the Eastern Sierra.  After a two year absence from putting on trips due to a number of uncontrollable issues, Margy and I are back ready to start putting on low cost hiking and cycling trips again  ......but this time with a little different focus.

As I approach my 70th year on this planet, I’m aware that my physical abilities have noticeably changed in the last few years, along with adding some ailments such as arthritis, back pain, insomnia, hair growing in inconvenient places,  and other fun things associated with aging.

What all of this means is, that it is getting a bit hard to put on the physically demanding trips of the past ......not so much that it is all that hard for the participants ....more like the trips are too hard for us.  Anyway, the end result is that we are taming things down a bit.
